Freight Warning: Read This Information Prior to Signing for Delivery

• Inspect exterior of carton or shipping box for damage.

• If damage is visible, open carton and inspect contents for damage.

• If damage is present either sign for it as damaged or refuse shipment.

• In either case, contact Stafford-Smith at 800-242-4058 x 3400 to report damage or refusal of shipment.

• Report damage or refusal of freight within 24 hours.

• Once a shipment is signed for, it is very difficult to file a freight claim.

If after receipt of shipment concealed damage is discovered, please follow these steps:

1. Keep all cartons, packing material, etc. Do not throw away.

2. Document damage with pictures.

3. Contact Stafford-Smith at 800-242-4058 x 3400 to report concealed damage.

4. Report concealed freight within 24 hours.

It is the responsibility of the person receiving and signing for shipment to verify that merchandise is in good order and free of damage. By signing for shipment, receiver is accepting responsibility for the shipment and accepting responsibility for any damage.

Return Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Restock fees may apply. Please contact your Stafford-Smith representative to discuss return options/procedures.
